Official FOF Hero, Jon Luskin, raced the final version of the film through a snow storm arriving just half an hour before the premiere. The good people at Sundance accepted the final cut ready to play at 11:30am.

Who knew just how sold out the FOF premiere would be? Fans came two and a half hours early hoping to get a wait list ticket. Even some ticketless crew members were exiled to the theater cafe.

We won’t give any details away but there was spontaneous applause at one particularly politically-charged scene in the film.

 

Credits rolled and the crowd gave a hooting and hollering standing ovation. We later heard it was the first film at Sundance this year to get a standing ovation.

Please note that the US Flag is properly displayed with the field of stars in the upper left as viewed, whether horizontally or vertically. Go biofuels ...and let the Saudis and other "supporters" of the USA fill their swimming pools with their stinking crude!

I'm elated for you guys and at the same time sad I could not have been there to celebrate but I'm with all of you in spirit. We've been anxiously tracking your progress on the website and it has been excellent reading the blogs, checking the photos and movies. Nice shot Becca. Best to all of you. Loved the film.. but you need to fix something!!

I was at Sundance on Monday 1/21 for the premiere of "Fields of Fuel" and really enjoyed it. It is a powerful and inspirational film. If someone hasn't already pointed this out, you need to fix the spelling of Minnesota when supering the professor from the University of Minnesota. The first two times we see it, it only has one 'n'!.
